PeaceCraft
Volunteers
PeaceCraft depends on the dozens of volunteers who keep the shop open every day. PeaceCraft currently has
twenty-seven regular volunteer sales associates each working on average two, four-hour shifts each month.
Since May 2006 they have collectively volunteered over 2000 hours in the shop alone.
Contributions other than store purchases are essential for PeaceCraft to grow and serve in new ways. If you
would like to work with us to advance the cause of fair trade as a means to promote peace and economic
justice, you can support PeaceCraft by volunteering your time as a store volunteer. If you would like to
volunteer at PeaceCraft, please e-mail us at peacecraftinberea@windstream.net or call us at 859-986-7441.
The PeaceCraft Steering Committe.
We also have a steering committee which is responsible for developing long term plans, including organizing
off-site events, marketing, financial planning, and implementation of our education outreach programs. We
are currently looking to expand the Steering Committee. We welcome anyone who has a strong interest in
furthering fair trade, peace and economic justice. For more information, or to submit a volunteer application to
serve on the steering committee, please stop by the store at 307 Chestnut Street or send an email to Amy
Weinfurtner, store manager, at peacecraftinberea@windstream.net. There is a special need for volunteers
with expertise in the areas of marketing, graphic arts, or accounting.
